Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) is a neoplastic histiocytic disorder that most commonly affects bones and skin, but it can also involve bone marrow, liver, spleen, lungs, central nervous system, and other organs. LCH is rare, but it is considerably more common in children (especially younger children) than in adults. Web1-800-226-2379. As the largest histiocytosis treatment program in the world, we see approximately 150 new patients and follow more than 1,000 active patients, including patients from five continents. With the dramatic growth of our program, we have developed and expanded the number of clinical trials of innovative therapies to treat histiocytosis.
