If it doesn't have data, it temporarily uses a built-in number for mileage. Sounds like the Forscan flash reset the data so it will take a couple tanks to get back to normal.

The MPG reset to 13.4 after I cycled the key off and on. Even if the 13.4 mpg is correct, the DTE should be much higher, like in the 800's.
