If you are going to use the SW for Earth, then you will need to use the banjo on the gland, and take an earth from this to the fitting earth. However I would would use 3 core SWA and use a core for the earth.
WebNov 18, 2024 · It all rather depends what you are doing with the armour and the CPC for the circuit - in extremis you could have 2 stuffing glands on at each end and comb the armour into an earth terminal, electrically fine, though the purists may tut a bit. The equivalent for SY is common.
